When “playing on my computer” as Emma insist on calling it, I am always trying to turn Emma into a comic-book character, with the help of two or three photo-editors. Most of my efforts come to naught - I suspect because the images were not take with the end product in mind, or more likely because I am trying to be ambitious with insufficient talent. But the fun is in trying. I have always envied comic-book artists. With a few skilful strokes of the pencil, they can create their characters, and make them do whatever they want, say whatever they want. They can give free reign to their imagination and bring their innermost fantasies to life. Having said that, I’m not a great fan of Japanese Hentai, which are too cartoon-like, and for the same reason I never did fancy Jessica Rabbit. I much prefer to see characters closer to the American comic-book tradition.
