A colleague of mine years go - incidentally a member of a folk group called The Spinners - confided in me that he much preferred the thrill of riding a high-powered motorcycle to that of sex. This was a matter of weeks before his marriage to a beautiful and sexy young woman. I had been married for about five years at the time and had recently started to take photographs of Emma in the nude. Emma worked as my typist and I contrived to get my hands on her several times a day. She could always invent some reason to follow me into the store-room, although I doubt if we fooled anyone. Obsessed as I was with my wife, I could not understand how anyone could get more excitement by being astride a motorcycle than on top of a passionate young woman. It was several years later that I first rode a motorcycle. Admittedly it was no Harley-Davidson, but it didn’t even come a poor second to screwing Emma.
