I’m reluctant to wax lyrical about Emma and me having sex in case anyone should think, “Heavens above, Alfie and Emma finally got it together,” as if it were something unusual. It might be different if we occasionally got up to something spectacular in the bedroom, but we don’t. Seldom is there anything out of the ordinary - something to write home about, as the saying goes. Yesterday afternoon was typical. After a leisurely soak in the bath, I came into the bedroom to find Emma waiting for me open-legged and fingering herself enthusiastically. She pointed to the mini-vibrator lying on the bed and said, “It needs a new battery. They don’t last long, do they?” Promising to replace the battery, I lay down next to her and we kissed. Emma continued to touch herself up and I left her to it, simply placing my hand over hers without trying to replace it. [To be concluded tomorrow]
