In ten days time I will be screwing Emma into the mattress of our hotel room in Llandudno. Guaranteed! But while Emma is looking forward to our sexual activities, she also has her own agenda. The picture on the left provides a clue. Many men, I know, hate trawling round the shops with their wives, but Emma knows the secret of maintaining my interest. She always buys at least one item which will raise my spirits, my temperature, and something else besides. As often as not, it is something she would not think of buying on her own account, something solely for my amusement, or perhaps to fulfil a personal fantasy. On the Llandudno high-street there is a shop which, from the outside, looks like a very ordinary lingerie shop. Inside there are racks of passion-killing underwear for middle-aged and even older ladies. I’ve even seen pink flannelette drawers for Heavens sake! But, on the drapers’ equivalent of a newsagents’ top shelf - Wow! Watch this space.
