Pictures of Emm
Or rather the untalented snapper trying to give the impression that he’s an artist. Here’s another picture that owes more to the photo-editor (this time PhotoPlus) than it does to Alfie. I took the photograph on which the image is based when we spent a couple of days luxuriating in Llandudno in the Spring. The pose was copied from a print which was hanging in the bathroom - Gustav Klimt was obviously the hotelier’s favourite artist. The original photograph, however, was distinctly unpromising - one of those which I would normally have deleted from the camera without giving it a second thought. Despite the fact that Emma was the subject, the only thing I half liked about it was the pose. But thanks to a couple of well-chosen filters, the result is quite pleasing. The experiment has taught me to think twice about deleting images before I’ve had the chance to play about with them.
