Ye gods, I need to get away. A short break from routine. I didn’t count our trip to Ireland as a real getaway, because Emma and I were seldom alone - except after lights-out of course - and there were no opportunities to take any photographs other that those any tourist would take. And to be perfectly honest, there wasn’t a great deal of sexual activity either. Just a quickie before falling into the nightly coma. I have been saving my pennies for a surprise dirty weekend, but other things keep cropping up to eat into my finances. There are far too many Welsh books published during the Eisteddfod; I was also out of printing-paper, and running low on inks. This (see picture, taken during a midweek break in Chester about this time last year) is the sort of thing I have in mind. I’m not missing out on the love-making, you understand. I just need a change of scenery, where Emma can forget the washing and cleaning, and I can forget the cooking.
