Emma left me on Saturday - just for the day. She and our former neighbour took the coach to Chester to go window-shopping. I anticipated spending the morning updating the Blog, selecting a few photographs to post, and then spending a leisurely afternoon drooling and slowly masturbating over pictures of Emma (the way one does). When I couldn’t get wireless access to the internet on my desktop, I phoned my friendly BT Home Help for remote assistance. A major rearrangement of furniture eventually allowed me to connect using the Ethernet cable. But no matter how hard we tried, Windows Internet Explorer wouldn’t allow remote access, even when running in safe mode. Six hours, and four advisors later, my patience was beginning to run out. Eventually, by downloading Firefox, remote access was established. My helper said, “Check that your USB wireless adaptor hasn’t fallen out.” It hadn’t, but it proved to be faulty. I fitted the one from my laptop and wireless access was established - just in time for Emma to arrive home and find the living-room looking as if a bomb had hit it. Damn and blast the computer to hell!
