I have often heard the Blogosphere, or whatever you like to call it, described in terms of a community. I always wondered how it could be thought of as such, when individual Bloggers seldom if ever met in person. Last month that question was answered for me. An charming lady who describes herself as a swinger-wife, had been harassed and vilified so much as a result of her complete honesty that she thought she was left with no option but to close her Blog. The response was immediate and overwhelming. She received so much support, and so many expressions of genuine affection, in the form of comments and emails, that she felt able - enabled perhaps - to defy the bigots and continue with the Blog in which she describes her adopted lifestyle in detail. A long time ago Emma and I made a different choice and have become set in our ways, but that doesn’t give us the right to censure others. On the contrary, we delight in reading about their lives and sexploits, and we send our love to Swingerwife. Long may her Blog continue.
