Courting days
Well it wasn’t really a crime. She had reached the age of consent in legal terms. Playing with Google Earth on Monday, I had zoomed in on the exact spot where Emma Jane had let me take her virginity. Two very inexperienced young people had finally reached the point where they couldn’t hold out any longer. It was a defining moment in both our lives of course. And, for me, one of those rare occasions where reality exceeds expectations - by a mile. It is so deeply etched into my memory that I could take Emma back to that room, and lay her down in the exact position she lay in then, to within a centimetre or two. This time, however, I would enter her more easily than I did then! I say I could do this, but sadly the opportunity has gone forever. I heard recently that the old place has been pulled down as part of the urban redevelopment. Which makes me glad that Google hasn’t updated that particular portion of its world map.
