I may have mentioned it once or twice already, but Emma and I need a break. Not from each other, I hasten to add - quite the contrary. We need to get away together, to leave domesticity behind and screw each other’s brains out in a comfortable hotel-room. Recently Emma has been overworked, while I have been nursing a convenient injury. Depression has been looming. Emma’s child-like jubilation over her new kitchen has failed to lift my spirits, and our (almost) daily love-making has been a mere palliative. Our last break was in December (see left) and although I failed to mention it at the time, it was not an unqualified success due largely to my “moodiness”. Normally, we would have had a sexy weekend in February, but we decided against it this year - never again! Our next mini-break is scheduled for mid-April and, unlike me, it can’t come too soon.
