She draws the line at cubism

I bought another photo-editing program last month, specifically to “turn photographs into paintings” as it claims on the box. Corel’s “Painter Essentials 4” does a much better job than the artistic filters in Photoshop Elements, or PhotoPlus’s “instant art” tool. I have already had hours of fun using it, not only with images of Emma - more of which will no doubt appear on the Blog - but even more with landscapes, seascapes, etc., which are far less likely to be posted here. At less that £30, it’s not an expensive utility and it’s very simple to use - although you can achieve more complex effects with a little practice. [I’m not on commission, by the way.] As I have mentioned before, Emma doesn’t mind my making hard copies of my nude pictures of her, provided they look like paintings. By which, of course, she means paintings by the likes of Velasquez or Goya, but possibly not Picasso.
