A long, long way ahead, I hope. When the gorgeous Anna Louise deleted her Blog, it was for fear that her daughter might one day chance upon it. Although Emma and I strongly believe that what we get up is our concern and nobody else’s, Emma does harbour similar fears to those expressed by Anna Louise. There will no doubt come a day when we delete our Blog and related Picasa albums. But at what point would I want to destroy the images themselves? Emma insist that she would not want daughter Eva to come across them when “going through our things”. After the funeral she means! How morbid can you get? If anyone, in the distant future, wants to plough through the hard copy of the text, they’re welcome. But for Emma’s peace of mind, we have decided to start shredding the prints of all images which might be construed as pornographic, keeping only the “glamour” shots and some of those (like the one on the left) to which an “instant art” filter has been applied. As for the CD’s on which the images are stored, I suppose they could be encrypted.
