This is my first attempt to include a slideshow in a post. As it happens, it also records the first time I tried to produce a slideshow featuring Emma, who was in her late twenties at the time. A couple of years earlier she would have made a more convincing sixth-former, but the thought hadn’t occurred to me. Perhaps I should try to superimpose facial features from earlier photographs, though all of these are black and white images so it wouldn’t be easy. These pictures were taken from colour slides. This was the pre-digital age, remember, and you couldn’t just take your saucy films to the local chemist for processing. I could develop colour-slides, but printing was beyond my resources, in terms both a finance and skill. It wasn’t until comparatively recently that I could scan the images and print off hard copies. Now that I’ve resurrected them, I must persuade Emma to try a more professional-looking striptease.
P.S. If anyone can explain why the second slide always precedes the first (title) slide, I would be pleased to learn where I am going wrong. It only happens when I publish the video clip on Blogger.
