Tomorrow a former colleague of mine is paying us her annual visit. It’s the Spring half-term holiday. So soon? Su is the head-teacher of a school for children with severe learning difficulties and will regale me with the usual horror stories no doubt, including battles with the Local Education Authority. She is a vivacious, outgoing, attractive lady, but with reference to earlier posts I have never lusted after her. Perhaps it’s her position as a head-teacher that stops me from fancying the delightful Su. I can imagine her saying to me, as I try to recover from what I consider to be an adequate performance, “Now do it again. And you can keep on doing it until you get it right!” For the next couple of days, I will be unable to log onto my Blog. I will schedule a few posts to fill in the gap, but will be unable to leave or respond to comments until I catch up at the weekend.
