Pictures of Emm
These are the before and after images of a picture which hangs in our bedroom - one of a pair which can be seen in the background of several photographs appearing on the Blog. Being occasionally subjected to bright sunlight, they are beginning to show slight signs of fading and will eventually need to be replaced. Since they were produced using Corel’s photo-editing suite, which I no longer have, I thought they had been lost forever. However, I recently discovered them on a CD I used to transfer files from an old to a new computer. Why these images were not transferred is a mystery. It’s odd that Emma allows the images to be on public display. She would never allow a nude image of herself to be hung on the wall, but believes the distortion has produced a completely abstract picture. If I half close my eyes, I can plainly see the original photograph from which they originate. But perhaps that’s because I’ve actually seen the original.
