Even thought Eva and her husband have separated and Eva has moved out, Emma and I were still called upon to look after the sullen cat and incredible bouncing dog from Sunday through Wednesday this week. Daughter and son-in-law were both off to a meeting in London, making their way there independently. As you can imagine it was a bit embarrassing meeting Adam for the first time since the split-up, but he seems resigned to the situation and holds no grudges against Emma and me, even though he must realise we are bound to side with Eva. Blood thicker than water, etc. By long tradition,there was no sex for the three nights we were there (because of the IBD) but Emma picked up a couple of sexy little numbers on our excursion to the shopping centre. Photographs will appear in due course. We managed to avoid the embarrassment of a further meeting with Adam by leaving a couple of hours before his return, taking with us a few of our possessions. I trust this is the last time we will be called upon to dog-sit. The photograph was taken at Eva’s place in happier times.
