One-track minds

When I checked the local weather forecast (for the days of our mid-week break) it promised showers and periods of more prolonged rain. “That’s okay,” Emma said. “We’re only going there to take photographs and have sex, aren’t we?” It was an unexpected response, to say the least. We’d chosen the hotel because it was on a convenient bus-route for both Chester and Wrexham. “No shopping then?” I asked. Only in the mornings, was her reply, and she was as good as her word. We spent the morning in Wrexham, trawling the shops and drinking coffee and buying a couple of skimpy items for Emma to wear in bed. The afternoon we spent doing what comes naturally - and doing some of it in front of the camera, as you can see. Some Brits and visitors to the UK may recognise the décor. Later, daughter Eva joined us for dinner at the hotel. When we had seen her safely onto her bus home, it was back to our room for more photography and sex. “What’s on tomorrow?” I asked before drifting into oblivion. Same as today, she said. It’s a hard life, but I’m not one to complain.
