Earlier this year a local couple moved into the cottage opposite, after spending three months renovating the place. What they (probably) haven’t realised is that the morning sun illuminates their bedroom as if it were floodlit. Emma opened our bedroom curtains one morning last week to be faced by the guy opposite in his underpants getting dressed. She was spying or being prurient; it was a chance happening which nevertheless brought a smile to her face. Sadly, although it’s me who normally opens the curtains, I’ve yet to see the wife in a similar state of undress. There is, incidentally, no way they can see into our bedroom as a quid pro quo. Net curtains and the direction of the morning sun ensure our privacy. The dilemma is, do we tell them - with the implication that we have seen them half-naked - or risk seeing the pair of them in even more compromising situations? Discuss.posted by sooyup on Daily trivia
