Well, what do you get for the man who already has everything he really needs? I had my PC upgraded, on the premise that you can never have too much RAM. I thought of upgrading from Photoshop Elements 4 to Photoshop Elements 8, but decided there wasn‘t enough news stuff to justify it. Instead, I bought a copy of Corel Paintshop, which has a couple of extra features I used to like. I have a new film-scanner, in order to have a final go at digitising my archive negatives. I was never happy with my previous efforts before my previous film-scanner gave up the ghost, and I’m a little more experienced at photo-editing by now. On the other hand, perhaps I’m looking for a level of detail which just isn’t there any more. We shall see (or not, as the case may be). Some people may be surprised that there are no items of clothing on the list. But I hate spending money on clothes (unless they are for Emma) and my family knows better than to but me ties, socks, shirts, etc. The book-tokens, however, were greatly appreciated.
