… at 2009. Emma and I notched up another year of loving and screwing - loving twenty-four seven (awful but useful phrase) and screwing more often than not by a long chalk. Apart from a few minor ailments too trivial to mention, we remained in robust health all year. Despite complaining about the ravages of time and gravity, Emma continued to pose for me, leaving me to select what was suitable for the blog and then occasionally disagreeing with my choice on the grounds of propriety. We enjoyed a pleasant if rather damp holiday in Ireland, seeing the sights (as they flashed by the car window thanks to my brother’s idea of tourism: if it’s Tuesday this must be Killarney. ) We spent several midweek breaks in our homeland, savouring the delights of hotel sex. You can’t beat it. We “met” many interesting and sexy people, mostly couples, through the medium of their blogs. All things considered, it was an enjoyable year. On the debit side, the weather was foul, and we lost two good friends to the Big C.
