We seem to have reached a plateau as far as visitors to the Blog is concerned. But are we disheartened? Only a little. According to Reader’s Digest, the first video uploaded to YouTube was posted only four years ago this month. How much is uploaded each day varies, but averages out to about ten hours every minute. That is about fifty years of additional material every month. Pity the future social historian sifting through that lot! You can add to that an estimated one hundred and twenty million active Blogs and a further two hundred million dormant ones. With those sort of figures, I guess we should be glad that eighty to a hundred people visit our Blog each day. One or two even take the time to leave a comment, bless their hearts. And this picture is especially for whoever pays us the occasional visit from the Vatican. Pax vobiscum, your Eminence.
